Our Story

The Alamo Travel Group has been in business for over 30 years. We are a full-service travel agency headquartered in San Antonio, TX and serving clients with worldwide travel services that include family vacations, group travel, cruises, getaways, destination weddings, and honeymoons. Our team maintains a close relationship with the best-rated airlines, cruise lines, resorts, spas, hotels, and leisure destinations around the globe.

In 1982, our president, Patricia Pliego Stout, opened the original San Antonio, TX office with the goal of establishing lifelong relationships with our customers, their families, and their businesses. As a relative newcomer to the United States from Mexico, Pliego started The Alamo Travel Group as her way of pursuing her own American dream. Today, The Alamo Travel Group has offices around the United States and continues to earn and retain customers through excellent services and reasonable prices.

We will be there every step of the way through the planning process to your return.

We will also meet with you to present you with all the travel documents you need and answer all your questions.

ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation) provides The Alamo Travel Group with business process and financial management tools and powerful data and analytics. Nearly 16,000 travel agencies and 190 airlines use ARC's settlement services. ARC is the travel industry's gold standard of accreditation.

IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network) promotes professionalism, administers meaningful and impartial business standards, and provides cost-effective products and services that benefit the travel industry.

CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) is the world´s largest cruise association and is dedicated to the promotion and growth of the cruise industry.
